More Wine...Less Whine!

Every year when we go to visit my mom in the Orlando area the first question people ask is “Are you all going to Disneyworld?” And my answer is always, nope! LOL I sometimes feel like people that there’s only one theme park in Florida. There are so many amazing things to do in the Orlando area. Legoland is a newer park aimed at kids up to 12 years old and their families. But if you’re not much of a thrill seeker but LOVE LEGO® than this park is great for us big kids too!
Legoland is typically open 7 days a week and their hours fluctuate between 10a-5p, 10a-6p and 10a-7p. Be sure to check out their website before you plan your trip! The day Morgan and I went we got there around 11a. I figured that would be a good time and boy was I wrong! We ended up spending almost 30 minutes in traffic just to enter the parking lot. Parking is $17 for cars so keep that in mind too!
Once we entered the park the first thing we wanted to get on was the Great LEGO® Race. The ride to get on was going to be almost 2 hours! Lawd…so yea we decided to check back before we would leave for the day. Luckily there were a lot of other rides that she wanted to get on. While we were there we ran into one of my good friend Michelle of Divas with a Purpose. You have no idea what a lifesaver that was for my sanity! I don’t know about you but this past Winter did a number on everyone in this house. Being stuck indoors during the colder months can stress you out mentally and physically! Breathing in the same dry, circulated air along with cooties is not good for anyone. But as we move into Spring then we’re all full of pollen and sneeze all day long. That leaves you congested and full of mucus! This year I’ve decided to be more proactive in our health and try to ward off stuff before rather than wait until we’re all sick.
Wally’s Natural sent over a few things to help us take better care of our ear health. Did you know that your ear health is one of the most neglected senses? The three products we got were Kids Ear Scrub, Ear Candles and Organic Ear Oil. Designed with children in mind, the ear scrub is a fun and safe way for kids to clean their ears. Morgan LOVED using this product. It comes with this cool sponge that looks like a beauty blender and all you do is get it wet, place a few drops on the sponge and clean those little ears! I swear ALL of the dirt, dust and debri goes to live in that kid’s ears. She uses it in the shower and its one less thing that I have to worry about doing…woohoo!
The Organic Ear Oil is a unique blend of essential oils that help to moisturize, soothe and comfort agitated ears. I used this a few times and it felt so weird because of the tea tree oil but after that “cooling” sensation wore off I was good to go. [Read more…]
