Every year when we go to visit my mom in the Orlando area the first question people ask is “Are you all going to Disneyworld?” And my answer is always, nope! LOL I sometimes feel like people that there’s only one theme park in Florida. There are so many amazing things to do in the Orlando area. Legoland is a newer park aimed at kids up to 12 years old and their families. But if you’re not much of a thrill seeker but LOVE LEGO® than this park is great for us big kids too!
Legoland is typically open 7 days a week and their hours fluctuate between 10a-5p, 10a-6p and 10a-7p. Be sure to check out their website before you plan your trip! The day Morgan and I went we got there around 11a. I figured that would be a good time and boy was I wrong! We ended up spending almost 30 minutes in traffic just to enter the parking lot. Parking is $17 for cars so keep that in mind too!
Once we entered the park the first thing we wanted to get on was the Great LEGO® Race. The ride to get on was going to be almost 2 hours! Lawd…so yea we decided to check back before we would leave for the day. Luckily there were a lot of other rides that she wanted to get on. While we were there we ran into one of my good friend Michelle of Divas with a Purpose. You have no idea what a lifesaver that was for my sanity!
