Hi!!! I’m Alisha a lover of all things related to natural hair, nail polish and of course WINE! I’m a wife and mom to 2 BEAUTIFUL daughters who constantly keep me on my toes. I started this blog as a way to share my natural hair journey which began in the Fall of 2011, the musings of motherhood and being a wife to my love, my passion as a food and wine aficionado. During my “day job” I work as a crisis consultant for a mental health agency. Our crisis lines answers calls from over 5 different lines and one of those is the Suicide Prevention Hotline. I have a huge passion for mental health and suicide awareness.
Life is so precious and way too short not to do the things you love. So as my saying goes “Everyone needs to believe in something.
