More Wine...Less Whine!
Hey my peeps! OMG can you all believe that I did not cut Sybil at all last year. This means I won a bet with my friend Racheal and she now owes me drinks…winning! Last year I did a self-imposed challenge that I would go one full year without cutting my hair. Did you read about the challenge?
This time last year I was rocking a fierce brush cut. My head was freezing but I was fierce! LOL December of 2013 was when I decided to give Sybil a fresh start and I loved it!
OMG can you all believe that Christmas is less than 2 weeks away! I happy to announce that I finally put up our tree…well actually I went and purchased a new tree! I kinda forgot that I had thrown out the other one since it was on its last leg and when I went to the attic there was a big ol’ empty space where it used to be. Oops! I’m still feeling like Scrooge so I was more than happy to let my 5-year-old decorate the tree. She actually did a pretty good job if I don’t say so myself. Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner?!?! To carry on my holiday festive nail art I reached out to my instagram peeps for inspiration. Many suggested candy canes and I just knew I couldn’t let them down…LOL! And I also knew it was something fairly easy that I could do and it not end up being a big flop.
Happy first day of December! I decided that since it’s officially “let’s get ready for Christmas” month I would try my hand at Winter and Holiday nail art. Now as you all know I am by NO means an artist or professional when it comes to my nail art. Unfortunately Instagram and Pinterest give me delusions of grandeur and I have these preconceived visions in my mind that my nail art will look exactly like the inspiration pictures. Every now and then I get a win. And when that happens I look just like this:
Now last week my poor little turkey nail art looked more like a “turdkey” to me than anything. I know most of you were being kind with your comments, but trust me that brown blob looked crazy.
