More Wine...Less Whine!
Since I’ve been experimenting a lot more with nail art, I’ve developed a love/hate relationship with gradient nail art. I LOVE the way they look but I HATE the way mine always turn out…until now! I finally got them to cooperate and turn out the way I wanted!
Last week I went to CVS and bought a few polishes since they were having a good sale. You can never have too may if you ask me! Here’s what I picked up:
Happy Motivation Monday! So the topic this week is what’s your favorite way to burn calories. Hands down for me, it is ZUMBA! There is nothing that can compare to the comradery and fun that comes from that class. I’ve been going to the same Zumba classes each week since April and have enjoyed meeting all the other ladies (and a few men) that come to class. The best part of the class is that is DOES NOT feel at all like exercise. It is like one big party! The music and the moves really get that heart rate up and the hour always passes by so fast.
Happy Friday everyone! I was recently introduced to Diamond Candles and quickly ran to their site to check out all the scents! I was blown away by all of the different kinds of candle scents that they offered. I asked my oldest daughter which one she wanted to try and as soon as she saw something chocolate related she was sold! I received the candle about a week later and before I even took the candle out of the packaging I could smell the rich fragrance of chocolate. It was awesome! Within about an hour of lighting the candle, our entire home was filled with the sweet smell of chocolate.
Happy Monday! I am so happy to announce that I survived week 1 of Jamie Eason’s 12 week LiveFit challenge! The hardest part for me was not doing any cardio. I’ve gotten so used to hitting up the Y for Zumba 3 times a week and missed my peeps! The program says no cardio for 30 days but I LOVE doing Zumba so I may just have to sneak in 2 classes a week. Now on the flip side, I feel so much more energized and even lost a pound last week. Imagine how much I might have lost if I was actually eating cleaner!
One of my other goals to work on during this 12 weeks is to eat more meals each day. Even when I was doing the Revolt Fitness Challenge trying to eat 5-6 small meals every day was like pure torture! I plan to try and incorporate some protein rich smoothies or shakes into my meals to help me repair my muscles as well as give me added nutrients. I also noticed during this week that I wasn’t quite as hungry, which is always a plus but I have to make sure I’m eating enough so that I don’t waste all the work I’m putting in when I exercise.
