It’s THURSDAY!  If you watch Scandal then you know that Olivia’s meal of choice is typically wine & popcorn.  I mean she’s a single girl and works her azz off “fixing” stuff.  So she doesn’t really have time for full course meals.  LOL

After dinner and the house is quiet and calm, I get ready to watch Scandal each Thursday night at 8pm CST.  It is pretty much the only time that everyone in my house actually leaves me alone.  Even my 5yo knows not to mess with me.  A few weeks ago one of my favorite wine glasses broke and after I cried like a baby swept it up I realized I needed a new wine glass that would make watching one of my favorite shows even more enjoyable. Spodee Wine Red Holiday

Spodoee Wine is advertised as a “Wine with a Kick”. But it’s actually more like a, “Kick in the Butt!” I made the mistake the first time and sipped a little too fast.  Let’s just say I slept like a baby that night…LOL

Oh how I miss you Butterducks Winery

First off let me preface this post by saying that I am not a “wino” but I visit wineries and sample varieties of wine for my readers.  LOL

Last year during Spring Break I had the pleasure of visiting Butterducks Winery located just outside of Savannah, Georgia in Effingham County.  One of my good friends, Vanessa, that I grew up with located the winery since she knew I’d be in town and how much I LOVE wine!

Butterducks Winery’s setting is absolutely peaceful and beautiful.  Outside are areas where you can sit , sip on your wine and enjoy the scenery.  Inside we were greeted by a very nice lady who made us feel right at home.  She was so much fun and damn near made me want to buy every wine they sold!
