Oh how I miss you Butterducks Winery

First off let me preface this post by saying that I am not a “wino” but I visit wineries and sample varieties of wine for my readers.  LOL

Last year during Spring Break I had the pleasure of visiting Butterducks Winery located just outside of Savannah, Georgia in Effingham County.  One of my good friends, Vanessa, that I grew up with located the winery since she knew I’d be in town and how much I LOVE wine!

Butterducks Winery’s setting is absolutely peaceful and beautiful.  Outside are areas where you can sit , sip on your wine and enjoy the scenery.  Inside we were greeted by a very nice lady who made us feel right at home.  She was so much fun and damn near made me want to buy every wine they sold!

The winery had a few tasting plans where you could purchase a wine glass with samplings.  We went for the smaller wine glass and 6 wine samples.  I fell in love with the Sweet Peach Wine.  It was just like taking a bite out of a ripe peach… pure heaven!  I also purchased another bottle of Super Sweet Blackberry Bliss.

Damn we make 40 look good!!!

I had an absolute blast while at the winery and please be sure to visit them if you live or visit the Savannah area.  Hope you enjoyed this week’s Wine Wednesday!  Want to know more about the winery and check them out for yourself:

“Super Sweet Blackberry Bliss.” I like the sound of that. Is it bitter at all?

First off… make sure you’re not wearing your all white dress when you drink this wine. LOL!!! It is not bitter at all and even my husband liked it. Every wine this place had was great and I’m more of a sweet wine girl and their drier wines were good too.

This winery looks amazing. Both the Sweet Peach and Sweet Peach Wine. Super sweet Blackberry Bliss sound amazing, I bet they would make amazing Sangria’s.

Eleanor the blackberry was soooo good! And I was too busy sipping on it to even think of other ways to drink it! LOL I’ll be thinking of how to make some yummy Sangria’s now that the weather is getting warmer. 😀
