Mary J Blige – The London Sessions

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of attending a screening of MJB’s documentary The London Sessions during the Blogalicious conference in San Antonio, TX. I had a chance to see another side of MJB that just blew me away and made me an even bigger fan. Do y’all remember What’s The 411? THAT was MJB’s debut album and I’ve been a fan ever since and that album was released in 1992. The London Sessions proves to be one of her best albums! While Mary is still (in my eyes) the Queen of Hip Hop, this album also has a cool pop and club vibe as well. There are the songs that make you want to get up and start dancing and then the ones where it’s like she is singing a song that was made for you. My favorite track from her album is Whole Damn Year. Nashville Vision Board Party
