Last month I shared a post about this cool monthly subscription box that you could get during an introductory period for $5! Luckily a few of you were able to snag it at that awesome rate and you should be receiving your boxes soon. Peekapak is a new subscription box for children 4-8. Peekapak is a hands-on storytelling adventure designed for busy parents to inspire imagination and learning in their children ages 4-8. Each activity pack covers a new topic within an engaging storybook and two to three educator-designed activities. They include all the materials to complete the crafts too! I love the idea of combining crafts and books. Peekapak is $19.99a month with discounts for longer subscriptions. You can also get a sibling add on pack for $12.99 a month. What’s in my Peekpak box this month? Check it out!
The Peekapak Pals revolve around 3 main characters: Cody, Leo and Menka. Each month your box will have a new book and all of the goodies you need to make the crafts that accompany the story. It’s such a cute concept and this way you’re not running around trying to gather little things like a piece of yarn, bells or bowls. Everything comes ready and all you and your child have to do are cut, color and assemble them together. This month’s box was “The Peekapak Pals and the Sounds of Music”.
This month’s box contained supplies needed for 3 crafts. The first craft was for Menka’s Pan Flute:
- leaf cut-out sheet
- ruler cut out
- 6 straws
- green felt
- tape
- white string
- scissors
The next craft was for the bear rattle drum:
- bear cut-out sheet
- wood stick
- popsicle stick
- crayons
- scissors
- 2 bowls
- 2 bells
- yarn
- tape
And the last craft is for the microphone maracas:
- microphone cut-out sheet
- 2 sheets of foil paper
- 4 clear cups
- tape
- beads
- scissors
Morgan is pretty excited to make all of the items and read the book. I also love how Peekapak includes a note to the parents on ways to help further their children’s learning but still make it fun! Now in case you missed getting your first box for $5 there’s still a chance to save 70% off with their Black Friday pre-sale! WOOHOO! This sale only last a few days so be sure to check out Peekapak to order your box for next month.

How fun! While my kiddos are a little old for that, I definitely have a few tiny people in mind who would love it. I think that would make a great gift idea for those hard to buy for third cousins and distant nieces and nephews you don’t see every day. Bookmarking! 🙂
