The beginning of each summer brings so many new changes. It means that my girls are done with school and moving on to the next grade. This year is no exception. My oldest daughter turned 16 yesterday and became a licensed driver today! To say that I’m bombarded with a range emotions is an understatement. And not only will she be driving on her own but she starts a new job next week…lawd!
Since I work from home I decided that we would just fly by the seat of our pants and not really have any set summer plans. We plan to do a lot of day and weekend trips. Tennessee has so many amazing things to do and since we’re centrally located in Middle Tennessee it less than a 3 hour drive to either hit Memphis, Chattanooga or Knoxville! Heck Atlanta is less than 4 hours too!
In between the changes to our schedule this summer I plan to slow down as much as possible and remember to pamper myself and do things that I enjoy. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know one of my favorite past times is sharing my love of all the amazing wines that I come across.
Oliver Winery is releasing their limited Cherry Cobbler wine just in time for summer. Oliver Winery is Indiana’s oldest and largest winery. Since the brand was founded in 1972, Oliver Winery has become known for approachable and satisfying wines that capture the flavor of high quality fruit. Today, Bill Oliver, CEO and founding family member, continues to lead the company he built as the only 100% employee-owned winery in the nation. Oliver Winery produces close to 400,000 cases of wine annually as one of the largest wineries in the U.S. Oliver is also a world-class destination, rated by Travel + Leisure among the top 25 wineries to visit in the U.S. Oliver offers best-in-class service, beautiful grounds, and an approachable wine experience to thousands of visitors each year.
This seasonal wine is perfect for sitting by the pool, chilling on the patio or sipping on while taking full advantage of grilling season. When it comes to enjoying a glass of wine I love drinking it out of my “Bring Me Wine and Tell Me I’m Pretty” glass. I always feel extra special when I drink out of it…LOL! Oliver Winery Cherry Cobbler wine is on the sweeter side with a taste of fresh tart cherries, a hint of caramel-toasted crust, and a subtle, soft vanilla finish. It’s best chilled and the perfect “dessert” and no forks needed. I plan to have a few Girls Night In with my BFF Kelly this summer and since it’s only available for a limited time, and most likely selling out by July 4th, I plan to scoop a few more bottles to make sure we can enjoy it all summer long. Oliver Winery Cherry Cobbler wine is only available in 21 states. If you can’t find it at your favorite shop you can also purchase it here for $10.
I know exactly how I’ll be spending my down time this summer. What do you have planned?

My summer this year will be a more relaxed one. My girls are hanging out with me this summer, so we’re going to do stuff locally here in Atlanta.
Hi Alisha,
I think I need your “Bring Me Wine and Tell Me I’m Pretty” glass and a bottle of this Cherry Cobbler Wine 🙂
Our summer had been great, with two hyper, fun-loving boys, my life has never been boring! 😉
Cheers,
Jessica
