Happy Monday everyone!!!  My nails have finally started to grow back and are looking blog worthy…LOL!  I was taking Biotin before and ran out and didn’t think twice about buying another bottle.  One by one my nails started to crack and eventually I just said forget this and cut them all down.  It wasn’t until after I did that did I realize that I had stopped taking my Biotin.  I can honestly say that they have helped my nails become stronger.

For this week’s mani I used Wet n’ Wild’s Wild Shine (color 429D Dreamy Poppy).  This has been one of my favorite colors for this Spring.  I painted my accent finger with a white base coat then just grabbed a few random colors and added a few strokes of each color.  I’m going to an 80s birthday party this week and going to try this out with some more neon colors.  Can’t wait to show you all next week!

Sooooo, what had happened was…..  Look let me give it to you straight!  A few nails broke last week and I just said eff it and cut them all down so I wouldn’t look like I got into a fight with a garden tool and lost.  I figured this would be the perfect time to share some of my instagram nail crushes!  This week I want to feature Traci of DRINKCITRA.

Back in the Fall of 2011 after I did my Big Chop I got more involved with wearing accessories and painting my fingernails.  One of the first Instagram nail crushes came when I discovered Traci’s profile page!  Her nails were beautiful and she always answered when followers had questions about products or techniques.  I still to this day can not do a half decent gradient, but I can’t say Traci didn’t try her hardest to help me out…LOL!  I love how she can take such a simple idea and just make it work.  Her nail art is also something that I can recreate since I am by no means an artist.  Check out some of her awesome work!

Hey Hey Hey it’s MANICure Monday and today I’m bringing you a Robin’s Egg with mint & glittah baby!!!  Thank you sweet baby Jesus the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the temperature is above freezing!  It finally feels like Spring and I thought it would be so cute to bring a little of that to Coily Locks.

For this week’s mani I used Finger Paints in “Tiffany Imposter”, e.l.f.  in “Gold Star” and Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dry Anti Chip Top Coat.  I’ve been obsessed  loving the color mint lately and this was the closet that I had in my arsenal of polishes.  I refuse to by any more polish until I have actually used what I already own at least once.
