One of the first things I discovered when I went natural was just how bad using shampoo was for my coils.  It’s not that shampooing your hair is the worst thing but those that contain sulfates are what strip your hair of the oils that it actually needs to help keep it healthy.  And if you’re like me with purple hair, then those sulfates will not only strip the oils but also the color!  Yea…ask me how I know!  -_- lol

I usually just cowash my hair with regular conditioner so I was pretty excited to try out this conditioner.  I recently got a sew-in and it was suggested by my friend Maria to just use conditioner to cleanse the hair. Here’s how I was looking before:

Pretty scary, huh?  Haha!!!  Well I used the cowash and then applied my favorite leave-in and let it air dry then fluffed it up a bit and viola!  Here’s my after!
