As a mom, my purse is basically what keeps me looking like I have it all together. Key word is “looking”. I work from home so for the most part my purse is used to carry my keys and wallet. Now when we all have errands to do together as a family I have to break out the big purse! I loathe carrying it sometimes but it’s the only way I can make sure I’ve got all my purse essentials to make it through the day!
Being a mom means that my social life usually consists of taking them to after-school activities or other kid’s birthday parties. All of that means extra germs! We all know those little angels are like “walking petri dishes”. So to ward off all those unwanted cooties I make sure to carry these 3 essentials in my purse at all times.
The great thing about finding my purse essentials is that I can pick them all up right at Walmart. The Centrum Vitamins were located on the vitamin aisle, the Emergen-C was just below the lip care and the Advil vials were in the travel section. Perfect size too to fit right into my purse!

The contents of my purse are subject to change at any moment but there are a few things that WILL ALWAYS stay the same! My youngest daughter is quite the little techie, so to keep her entertained in the car I always make sure and have the mini iPad on hand. It’s loaded with plenty of games and learning activities to keep from saying “Are we there yet?”. I rarely wear makeup but I always make sure to carry some lipgloss because I like to look like I at least give a crap about how I look when I leave the house.
My key fob also has all of my reward cards so I can make sure and save moola at my fav stores. Since I’m a blogger I also like to carry around my business cards. You never know when an opportunity might strike so it’s better to be safe than sorry you forgot them at home. The wallet is so I can make sure and drive around legit ya know…don’t want to get a ticket for driving dirty! And last but not least…tissue! I swear I’m allergic to at least 99.9% of the stuff floating around in the air. SMH No one want to see a grown woman walking around with a snotty nose so I make sure I have a pack all year round!
To keep me better organized I also bought this cute planner with a fun gold metallic pattern. And when I’m out I always have business or blog topics running through my head and I tell myself “Oh…I’ll remember when I get home.” Yea, that never happens. So I make sure and also put my notebook in there just in case!
Because my bag can get a bit cumbersome if I plan to be at the mall for a while, I also like to put a smaller one in there so I don’t have to worry about lugging all of that stuff around!
What are your purse essentials that you can never leave the house without?

My wallet, lipstick and a pound of non-essentials!
Alisha says
Not a pound! I cleaned out my purse today because I had about a million receipts in there LOL
Tiki says
I need to check out the Emergen-C chewable. I need all the help I can get to survive running during the winter.
Coily Locks says
I felt something trying to creep up on me last week and those emergen-c chewables kicked it right in the butt! So much easier too than drinking it mixed with water.
