Hey Curlies!!! I am so excited to share my interview with Dominique of All Things O’Natural. I have been enjoying their products for over a year and was so excited when I got the chance to interview them. If you recall, two of their products made my Top 10 Favorite Products list. I’ve been using their Natty Moist and Natty Butter faithfully for the last year. No matter what style I do, after I wash I use my Giovanni Direct Leave-in followed by an oil, my Natty Moist then a styler (if needed). What I love about All Things O’Natural’s products are that they are made in small batches using quality ingredients. Their customer service is impeccable and it definitely shows in their products as well. Check out the interview and be sure to visit them!
What is the inspiration behind All Things O’Natural (ATON) and what made you launch it?
The inspiration that inspired me to launch All Things O’Natural was the initial vision to affect people in a positive way or at least influence people to be open to looking at broader alternatives to hair, skin and overall health from a holistic point of view. Allowing nature to affect mind, body and spirit, one natural ingredient at a time.
I am so impressed by the ingredients found in the entire line of ATON’s products! Can you explain why the company developed a line using natural ingredients?
Honestly, I was so tired of seeing companies who offered natural hair products with only a few actual ‘natural ingredients’. Understanding that what we put on our skin have the potential to affect what goes on inside of us, I wanted to create a product line with great ingredients that are not only beneficial for the hair but skin as well. Not only using natural ingredients, but also incorporating Ayurvedic ingredients into our products as well.
More natural products are increasingly sought after, so will your company continue to develop more products that meet this demand?
We actually have a belief in perfecting a few products that can multifunction. Because I don’t believe in having so many different products that serve many different functions, we love to keep our products view, but very effective. Our products are simple without complication just to keep up with trends. We love simplicity and striving to perfect that simplicity is our number one goal.
Can you tell us what other innovative ideas your company is working on, as far as hair care for the entire family?
Currently our products can be used and are being used by different ethnicities, hair types, relaxed, natural, kids, babies and men. So, no matter your race, gender, hair type or age our products can work for you. Having 4 kids of our own, we have used our Natty products on all of our children with great success. Perhaps in the future, we will work on developing a skin care line.
