Have You Tried Kroger Money Services?

Now that the kids are back in school, money appears to literally be flying out of my pockets at rate faster than I can keep up!  LOL  The girls have decided this is their year for umpteen extra-curricular activities.  We have marching bang, soccer, Little Kids Rock, LSAT Prep…..yea let me stop there before I stress myself out even more.  Luckily for me, Kroger is here to help save the day with Money Services.

Money Services is super convenient and can help you save up to .50 cents when you need to cash check & debit cards, pay your bills or buy money orders!  I belong to a credit union that is not located in my area and a lot of times I end up getting a large amount of cash to pay for some of the girls activities.  And since I don’t have any checks (like who wants to pay money for something you use a handful of times a year) I like to opt and get money orders.  

You ever write a check and then the person takes a million light years to deposit it?!?!  That’s so annoying -_-  Or when you’re out running errands and you remember that you hadn’t paid your water or electric bill and today’s the due date but you don’t have time to run to their office and you left your phone at home.  Most of these things always seem to happen to me when I’m at the grocery store.

Instead of having a minor panic attack you can tackle most of this issues while you’re doing your grocery shopping.  I’m all for things that make my life easier and if I can take care of getting groceries, paying a bill, picking up a gift card AND getting a money or or two then sign me up!

Wait…you shop at Kroger and don’t have already have your shopper’s card.  Let’s rewind all of this and start there first!  You can also Sign Up for a Card.  Not only will you be able to save money when you use your card, you will also be privy to some of these cool features:

• Support nonprofit organizations each time you shop and use your Shopper’s Card
• Track fuel points
• Save with email-only offers

Now that you’ve got your shopper’s card you might you’re probably wondering where the closet location is for you.   Find a location to cash a check and Find a location to pay your bills.

I always pick on my mom because she’s like 1 of 2 people that I know that will write a check and mail it off to be paid.  First off I still have a few stamps from about 3 price hikes ago.  And second I like the feeling of paying a bill and knowing that its been processed in a matter of seconds and not having to worry about weekends or holidays.  I always feel like my payment might get lost and no one wants to pay a late charge.

Avoid the hassle of paying bills in person or mailing them and knock them out while you’re at the grocery store.  You save money, time and energy.  I plan to use the money that I’m saving to add to my vast wine collection…LOL!
