Leopard Print Nail Art

Rawr!!! Welcome to this week’s edition of MANICure Monday! Once again I’ve been on Pinterest looking for inspiration. Then I remembered that I had some nail stickers from Claire’s. Now the best part of these stickers are that they were part of the 10 for $10. Y’all know I love a good bargain. Most of these nail art stickers go for and average of $7-$15 and as Sweet Brown would say “I ain’t got time for that!” The brown color is from the Milani line and the color is “Dark Coffee (15a)”.

Shine Bright Like a Diamond

Well hello there Monday! I totally missed last week’s blog hop due to ~~being lazy as hell~~ the holidays. I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and so looking forward to 2013. Now that no-buy is over I’m probably about to go buck wild buying polish. I’m at the point now where I need to find more shelves and storage to house my polish.

While doing a little after Christmas shopping I came across these cute polishes at Banana Republic. This week I decided to try something different ~~since I’ve run out of easy nail art~~ ~~ideas~~ and paint something subtle.

Colors used were “Miner’s Gold” & “Amber”

Santa’s Coat Nail Art

Happy Monday!!! It’s another installment of MANICure Monday! This week I found a really cute Christmas design while on YouTube. All of the ones I’ve been finding on Pinterest lately seem to be out of my league lately…LOL Since I’m still on a “no-buy” of polish until after Christmas, I hit up my mom’s stash. For my base coat I used LA Colors polish in “berry red”. I love the color but even after 3 coats it was still a bit transparent. *sigh*

Since my ring finger broke last week I decided to use my pointer finger to recreate Santa’s coat. I painted a white stripe down the middle then the tips. I took a fine brush to create the “belt” with black and then a black square was added for the belt buckle. I wanted to use silver but forgot to add it and had to improvise with a black sharpie (don’t judge me…LOL). Hope you all enjoy today’s mani! [Read more…]
