As most of you know, I was networking, partying, learning and making new friends last week at Blogalicious’ 5th annual conference in Atlanta, GA. I’m still trying to recoup from that awesome experience and once I find that damn memory card reader I will do a post about it and upload all the awesome pics…but I digress!
While I was out of town I wasn’t able to do my usual exercise routine, but it sure as heck didn’t stop me from being active and making “somewhat” healthy food decisions. One of the things I did while I was there was take the MARTA and then walked to the hotel where the conference was being held. The conference was held on 3 different level so this was also a great opportunity to get in more walking. But some of my best exercise came from the 80s themed party that was sponsored by McDonald’s. I danced and drank my butt off! It was almost 3 hours of non-stop fun and I had a blast! Check out a few pictures of me trying to let my inner 80s Diva out.
So for me what keeps me motivated to work out is having better health and a nice, toned body! I’m not trying to be “high school skinny” but I sure as heck don’t mind having the abs of that era! LOL And remember that habit is what keeps you going. After a while it’s no longer a chore and it becomes more fun. What kind of new habits have you picked up that are paying off now? And remember to link up with us this week!

Hey sis… I looks like your inner diva showed out and you had a ball! The habits that I’ve picked up are watching my portions and making wiser ingredient choices. I’m so glad you had fun at the conference and hope that you find your memory card reader! 🙂

It was a lot of fun and thanks so much for sharing your habits! I’ve been slacking on my water since it’s gotten cooler and I need to step that up and also get me a juicer so I can roll like you! LOL
