Boo! Did I scare you? I love playing around with different seasonal nail art even though my skills suck I still like to have delusions of grandeur and pretend I’m this amazing nail art designer…LOL I don’t know about you, but I’m still trying to figure out where in the heck this year went. Before you know it, Christmas will be here and I haven’t even started shopping for that.
Since I started doing MANICure Monday posts on my blog, my
addiction love for polish and all things related to nail art has grown… a lot! Along the way I’ve followed other people’s blogs and joined several groups. While on google+ I stumbled across a nail art group. Some of the work is simply amazing and I feel it should be shown in art galleries…seriously! One of my favorite nail crushes is Margriet of 365 Days of Nail Art. She was on a journey of doing nail art every day for 2014 and she finished! Now that ladies and gentlemen is no small feat. While trying to get some ideas for how I wanted to do my Halloween nail art I immediately fell in love with her orange/black gradient with a witch riding a broom.
So er, uh…yea I wasn’t even going to attempt that! I would have ended up with a black blog with an orange background. LOL So off to Pinterest I went and came across some cute ghosts! Finally something for us novice nail artist. I found the perfect orange polish (that I owned and didn’t even realize it) and went to work. For this I used NYC’s orange polish called Times Square Tangerine and the black is Black Lace.
