Boo! Did I scare you? I love playing around with different seasonal nail art even though my skills suck I still like to have delusions of grandeur and pretend I’m this amazing nail art designer…LOL I don’t know about you, but I’m still trying to figure out where in the heck this year went. Before you know it, Christmas will be here and I haven’t even started shopping for that.
Since I started doing MANICure Monday posts on my blog, my addiction love for polish and all things related to nail art has grown… a lot! Along the way I’ve followed other people’s blogs and joined several groups. While on google+ I stumbled across a nail art group. Some of the work is simply amazing and I feel it should be shown in art galleries…seriously! One of my favorite nail crushes is Margriet of 365 Days of Nail Art. She was on a journey of doing nail art every day for 2014 and she finished! Now that ladies and gentlemen is no small feat. While trying to get some ideas for how I wanted to do my Halloween nail art I immediately fell in love with her orange/black gradient with a witch riding a broom.
So er, uh…yea I wasn’t even going to attempt that! I would have ended up with a black blog with an orange background. LOL So off to Pinterest I went and came across some cute ghosts! Finally something for us novice nail artist. I found the perfect orange polish (that I owned and didn’t even realize it) and went to work. For this I used NYC’s orange polish called Times Square Tangerine and the black is Black Lace.
I’m so happy it turned out cute and I got it right on the first try. Yea me!!! So how will you be styling your nails this Halloween?
Such fun nail art! You do not even want to know what my nails look like!! ha I was installing hardwood floors with my husband all weekend, plus always doing something in the garden, or painting or building….. I will save the pretty nails for my 11 year old!! Cool ideas!
You are a whiz at DIY home and other stuff so I’m glad I at least have this ONE thing on you…LOL!
Too cute and fun! I wish I was that fancy with my nails 🙂
Thanks Cherese! I wish I was as fancy and artistic as Margriet!
Ahhh!!! ADORABLE! I love your inspiration and your ghost came out SO WELL! Love!!
Thanks Jennie! There were so many ideas and I had no clue what to do but I knew it had to be easy…LOL!
Love it 🙂 That orange is such a good shade for Halloween too. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for it!
I’ve been falling in love with that orange again. It’s so perfect for this time of year!
I love this!!! Your ghost is so cute and I love it as an accent nail. Great mani 🙂
Bailey
Thanks Bailey! So glad I didn’t have to keep doing it over to get it right. Now I have to work on my Turkey mani for Thanksgiving. No telling what the heck that’s gonna look like!
VERY NICE!
This is too cute, Alisha! I need to add Times Square Tangerine to my wishlist.
You are inspiring me!!!! Luckily it’s time to redo my nails lol
