How I get Sybil’s Coils to *POP*

November 3, 2014 by Alisha 2 Comments

So if you don’t know who Sybil is be sure to check out her introduction here where I go into more detail about her.  Now I’ve been natural for almost 3 years and during this time I’ve learned (through a WHOLE lot of trial and error) about how to get my coils to come to life when I do a Wash-n-Go (WNG).

The main products I used to achieve my perfect WNG include KJ Naturals Cocoa Clay Co-Wash, Rosemary Coconut Condish and Stretch & Curl Custard.

I start off my rinsing my hair and completely saturating it with water.  I finger comb the co-wash through my hair from root to tip then rinse.  I then add the condition and typically leave it on for about an hour or so (with a plastic cap on my head) when I want a good deep conditioning.  Rinse it completely then add my Giovanni Direct Leave-in, jojoba oil and then rake the custard throughout from root to tip.  I add more water then shake the mess out of my head!  LOL  For a demonstration of how I do this, check out my video I made.

And that’s all!  It literally takes me a couple of minutes to style and I’m done!  If you would like to learn more about the products I used in this tutorial, you can find them here:
