Happy Friday!!! I’ve been slacking on featuring the awesome natural hair of my curlfriends and wanted to jazz up things this week with Feature Friday.
I’ve known Bernadette since 4th or 5th grade. I won’t say how many decades that been, but it’s been a LONG time…LOL. I recently connected again with Bernadette through Facebook and immediately fell in love with her beautiful curls. Bernadette has been natural for about 1 1/2 years after transitioning for 2 years and keeps her styling regimen pretty simple. Now that’s some dedication right there! I think I transitioned for 3 months (with braids) then whacked it off right after I took the braids down…LOL!
Here’s how Bernadette gets her curls to pop:
1.) Pantene Truly Natural Cleansing Co-Wash
2.) Section hair with wide-tooth comb. Spray with water to dampen.
3.) Apply Dark & Lovely Au Naturale Curl Defining Glaze. Finger-comb through section.
4.) Detangle ends as needed with Denman brush.
5.) Spray with Creme of Nature Argon Oil hair gloss for lasting shine.
Now how simple and easy is that! Check out how Bernadette looks once she’s done styling her hair.
Aren’t her curls gorgeous? What are your favorite products to use to style your hair? Please share below and if you would like to be featured on the blog, feel free to contact me at info@wineingmomma.com!
