In our house sports are a HUGE part of my husband’s life. Every football season I start off by paying my respects to myself and all of the football widows out there.
So basically for 4 months my husband is glued to the tv until after Superbowl. The girls and I typically use Sundays as our bonding time where we spend his money so that he can hang at home and curse The Titans about how poorly they are playing. LOL No matter how bad they are doing, he’s a die-hard fan and the only thing that might get him to leave is if the house were on fire.
I keep hearing about Google Fiber coming to Nashville, so as an XFINITY customer , I was interested to see what they were offering. After doing some research (and hubby putting in his 2 cents), I learned Google doesn’t offer a feature like XFINITY’s Sports App, and that’s a dealbreaker for us!
With Xfinity, you get the most live sports and the best capabilities to check out stats through their sports app. Google Fiber doesn’t offer a comparable place to see all scores and player stats, while watching another game live.
- XFINITY’s Sports app is an awesome feature available through their X1 system that sets them apart from the competition. It gives you fast and easy access to live games on TV, live scores of all games currently in progress, coverage of games you aren’t watching and upcoming game schedules.
- XFINITY knows you don’t want to miss a minute of the action, so you can even watch TV and access the Sports app at the same time.
- Anyone in your house a Fantasy Football guru? If the answer is yes, this app is With the new Football Extras feature from the Sports app, XFINITY has created the ultimate football companion: more data, real-time stats and visualizations, pre-game player and team comparisons, injury reports, fantasy stats and more. Google Fiber can’t help out with setting your lineup for the week!
- If you’re a household where not everyone wants to watch hours of football on Sundays, you can keep the X1 Sports app up on the screen regardless of what’s on, so Dad/roommate/husband can stay connected to his/her favorite team.
Getting set up to check out the sports app is super easy by visiting X1: Sports App – Watch Games. Takes just a minute or so to get going and you’re all set to keep up with all your sports. Also if just watching the game isn’t enough, you can get extras with stats and insight on your favorite teams.
Nashville what do you think will be the biggest benefit of using the Xfinity Sports App in your home?
