When your turkey nail art looks like poo…LITERALLY #NaBloPoMo

November 10, 2015 by Alisha 14 Comments

It’s that time of year when I attempt my pathetic hand at nail art. And each year they get sadder lol.  But what stresses me out more is the fact that I’m not crafty at all and my girls love decorating for the holidays.

I have less than a month to get it together and that means I’ll have to get our sad Charlie Brown Christmas Tree out of the attic soon to decorate it.  I swear if I didn’t have kids all I’d be doing is decorating the mantle with some holiday crap and call it a day.  Now the little one wants the house decorated with lights all over the darn place.  She’d be pretty happy if we had it set up like the Griswold’s!

Yea that’s NOT gonna happen!  Now on to my Thanksgiving inspired turkey nail art.  I always have these wonderful nail art ideas in my head and try to be optimistic that they will turn out perfect.  I’m gonna let go of that dream and just be happy with whatever crazy looking nail art I end up with.  LOL

I used Finger Paints polish “Palette of Perfection” which is a blend of red, orange, burgundy and gold glitter.  Which I think is perfect for Fall and someone also mentioned that it reminded them of Pecan Pie.  Yummy!  Now on to my turkey nail art…smh!

That brown blob is supposed to be a turkey but it resembles a pile of poop!  LOL  It actually reminds me of a character on The Simpson called Cocoa Beanie.  HAHA!!!

Oh well can’t say I didn’t try and be sure to stay tuned for how I manage to make Santa and other Christmas nail art look just as marvelous!

Reminds me of Mr. Hanky, the Christmas poo from South Park.

The turkey does not look like a pile of poop! When I saw it I thought, “man, I wish I could do something like that”….so, I am jealous of your turkey nail art 🙂

I would love for you to link up this manicure at this week’s Beauty Frenzy Friday blog link party! Every post that links up will get pinned and have the chance to be featured the following week.

I am dying laughing at Mr. Beanie. It looks like a turkey to me. I said I was going to try one but haven’t.

Tiki you should go ahead and throw a turkey or 2 on those nails. I’m sure it will turn out better than my poor little turkey did…LOL!

Bahaha!! I can’t even! *wipes tear of laughter*

I think you’re being way too hard on yourself! The feathers behind the poop..err, I mean turkey, TOTALLY make it turkey-ish. 😉

(I keep scrolling back up and giggling. Haha!)

Can’t wait to see what your Santa looks like. Haha! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! 🙂
