Today’s post will be more of a “I forgot to schedule a post and spent 5+ hours driving and now I’m tired and this is what you get” kind of post. -_-
I’m all about family when it comes to celebrating the holidays and any time I can hang out with my family I will.
This Thanksgiving I’m making the drive from Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA. On a good day it’s a 3+ hour drive. On a day when you are going to hit rush hour traffic, Sunday drivers and people traveling for the holidays it doubles.
That’s me and my big head brother! The reason for me driving with all these folks this week!
Typically driving into Atlanta means TRAFFIC galore. This time it was outside our Chattanooga. And of course once it clears it’s like you go from driving with a gazillion people to 20! Where do they all go???
I would like to blame those drivers that stay in the left lane (which is a passing lane) and just twiddle their thumbs and enjoy a casual Sunday drive. But it’s not Sunday…ugh!
So this holiday season I would like to remind all the slow drivers (not doing the speed limit) to avoid the left lane and maybe I won’t worry about others zipping around all the other lanes trying to pass the road hogs. LOL
Just 6 more days and I’ll have completed this 30 day challenge…woohoo! I plan to celebrate with some wine or buy nail polish…or both!
If you are traveling during the holidays, where are you going?

I wish I was going somewhere but instead will be hosting for the third year in a row. I’m going to be that Auntie in the Memes in the corner posted up. I’m not in the mood. I know all about the traffic woes because we live on the south end of 75 out of Atlanta and all of the travelers going from the North to the South converge every holiday on our minimal lanes and make it difficult for me to go 5 miles. Have fun with your family!
