Once again I have the pleasure of co-hosting a Write The Vision Board Party right here in Nashville, TN! Vision boards can be a powerful (and fun) tool to help you manifest your goals so they become more REAL and tangible. A few years ago my mom bought me The Secret and I really started to make a conscious decision to stop with the negative self-talk and not think things like “I’m broke” or “I wish could that”. I started to think about what I wanted and in return not bring so much negativity around me.
[Tweet “The visual imagery from a vision board allows you to more readily see yourself living your dream, as if it were already reality.”] What exactly is a vision board you ask? A vision board can be a piece of paper, a sturdy poster board or a journal with images on it. It can be simple and hand drawn or very elaborate. Most usually consist of magazine images cut out and applied to a piece of paper. The purpose of a vision board is to help bring your dreams and aspirations to your life. It’s a chance to create your dreams and place them on whatever you wish as a 3-D focal point for your meaningful life and vision.
A lot of time as we grow our dreams and passions can also change. So don’t worry about if your board will be perfect…come out and fellowship and meet new people! The best of making your board is when you’ve reached a goal or literally something you only thought would happen in your dreams. Some people may have a fitness related only board while someone else is at a different point in their life and may only focus on finances and relationships. There is no right or wrong when it comes to making your own vision board.
If you’re in the Nashville, TN area please come out and join us for an evening of fun and networking while getting your vision board created. You can purchase tickets here.

This sounds like it was a pretty awesome event! If only I were closer to Nashville. I’m definitely going to working on a vision board for myself. It’ll be good to “see” my goals in pictures. Great Post!
