Whether you’re throwing a Superbowl Party or going to one, the biggest downfall to your healthy diet can sometimes be food!  The menu at most parties consists of chips & dip, pizza, greasy burgers and beer.  Well fear not!  Here are a few healthy Super Bowl Party food tips to help you out and make the most of the festivities.

Make sure you drink LOTS of water.  That’s one of the easiest ways to fill you up and its the healthiest.  You can bring or serve an assortment of fruits and vegetables for the party.  There are a ton of cute cookie cutters out there to make it all look even more appetizing.  Instead of chips & dip you could serve kale chips.  These are very easy to make and filling!  You can dry them in your oven, season and your good to go!  Instead of pizza how about using  whole wheat pita bread and layering on light sauce, cheese and veggies.

No party is complete without dessert!  An angel food cake with light whip cream and fresh or frozen berries is a great way to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Regardless of who wins the game, you’ll score points among your fellow fans with these healthy Super Bowl food tips. What are some of your favorite healthy food tips for parties?

Meranda I almost chocked laughing! LOL We usually just stay home anyway so there’s not as much junk for me to get into trouble with as long as I get a few things and not just hubby!
