If you haven’t figured out by now I like to pretend that I have these mad nail art skillz and can draw anything…LOL! I love doing nail art inspired by cartoons and movies. Did you check out my version of Mike Wazowski from Monster’s Inc?
This week’s inspiration for my Hello Kitty nail art was found on Instagram! I don’t know why I continue to punish myself by trying to recreate these things, but I’m just a glutton for punishment. The Instagram user that I became obsessed found this week is @tweetiisweetii. When you get the time please go and check her out. Her nail art is flawless and fierce! While mine is meek and whimsical…LMAO!!!
How stinkin’ cute is this! Like I said before, glitter makes everything better! I love how she mixed all of the different designs together and made it work. So after stalking reviewing all of her awesome pics, I figured “Hey I can do this!”
I forgot to take a pic of the glitter polish, but you get the picture. Ha! I used 3 colors from NYC polish: Prospect Park Pin, Black Lace Creme & French White Tip. The Nina Ultra Pro polish color is Punkin Pink. Instead of using my dotter this week I opted to use good ol’ toothpicks.
After studying my inspiration picture for what seemed like an eternity I was convinced I could do it. I made sure to keep my youngest daughter entertained with one of her fav shows for a bit so I wouldn’t rush and have a hot ratchet mess.
I made sure I had everything I needed before I started and here is the final result:
So how did I do? Now to try and attempt to do something from Zootopia…LOL! What’s your favorite type of nail art?
