Happy MANICure Monday everyone! Last week I stumbled across this cool looking nail art on Pinterest and immediately thought of the rapper 2 Chainz! So what do a hip hop artist and my nails have in common you ask? Well first let’s take a look at 2 Chainz.
Which now brings me to my latest creation…with 2 chains! When I saw this on Pinterest I just knew I had to recreate it and share with all of you. I also needed a break from all the fancy shmancy nail art I was trying to do. My poor brain needed a break and what better way to do that than with something as easy as polka dots! I used Sephora’s Give Peach a Chance as a nice neutral and for the nail art I used my dotting tool on one hand with Wet n Wild’s Black Lace. It also reminds me of a rosary. On my other hand I used 2 strips of nail tape to make a cross then painted on 2 coats of black before removing the tape. I LOVE how it turned out and hope they hold up for the rest of the week since they’ll match pretty much whatever I wear.
So what do you think? I’m always looking for new ideas so please share something you created and had great success with.
Linking up this week with my girl Jenni!

2morrow, 2morrow….I love it!!! Very cute. Cuter that 2 Chainz…lol. I’m wrong.
Ha! So glad to know it’s cuter than him! I swear I’ve been going around saying “2 Chaiiinnnzzz” since I painted this…SMH
LMAO @ 2 Chainz.. you knew you were ghetto!! LMAO again!!!
Every now and then I like to let my inner ratchet alter ego, ShaQwan, make an appearance! LOL
HAHAHA!! Love your inspiration! And they turned out great! I’m with you that sometimes, you need a break from intense nail art designs and what you’ve done is still super pretty! I love my dotting tools and striping tape, too. Although my newest thing is to add just a few studs or gems for some sparkle when I don’t want all-over glitter. Oh, and I’ve done gradient so much lately that now it’s easy, so when I’m feeling less than inspired, I grab a few colours and a sponge to play around. 🙂 Thanks for linking up and using the new button! 🙂
Thanks Jennie! And congrats again on hosting the weekly link up! I still haven’t mastered the art of gradients but I think I finally found a sponge that might work. I may try that next week with some of the bling I picked up. Still on the search for some cute studs that aren’t H U G E! lol
