*My family and I were given tickets to attend the LEGO® KidsFest in Nashville in exchange for promotion. All opions expressed are my own*
A few weeks ago I did a post about LEGO® KidsFest coming to Nashville April 17th-19th. We had the chance to attend during the opening night and we had a blast. If you have a LEGO lover in your house, it is definitely the place to be! From the minute you walk through the doors, you are greeted by life-size LEGO creations. I can only imagine how much time and effort went into not only making the “sculptures” but also the time just designing one!
I even got the big kid to get into having fun at the LEGO KidsFest! Another cool thing is that they gave you maps of how everything was set up. This was great because that way (since the venue was SO LARGE) you could easily figure out which area you wanted to hit up first. The exhibit area was open from 4-8:30pm and we arrived around 5 which was plenty of time. My little LEGO lover ended up spending he majority of the time in the Disney Princess and LEGO Friends area.
This was our first time attending a LEGO KidsFest and I had no idea that the area would be so large! I think we were all a bit overwhelmed at first but once we figured out what areas we wanted to check out it made it easier! What’s cool is that there was something there for the entire family. For the younger kids there was an area that had the Duplo LEGO bricks which are smaller and perfect for toddlers. And for the experts they had areas where you could just let your imagination soar!
For nursing moms there was an area set to the side and a changing area for moms and dads! The staff was also awesome! If you had a question they were right there to assist and help you out.
My youngest even managed to convince me to buy her 2 LEGO friends sets. She got a Pet Clinic and a Vet Ambulance. And I figured it was a nice change from playing with Barbie so I happily obliged her request…LOL!
I’m also looking forward to taking the girls to LEGO Land since we’ll be spending a few weeks in Florida for our Summer vacation. Have you been a LEGO KidsFest before? Share if you have and your favorite part.
It look like a great time for all. Glade Micah had fun. Morgan will make fun out of a box
They both had a lot of fun and def plan to attend again in the future. 🙂
