Now that I am no longer in my 30s, I’ve noticed that I can quite just eat whatever the hell I want to. I mean who the heck told gravity, my metabolism and father time to sneak up and catch a sistah off guard. Luckily for me, each time I got pregnant I gained 30 pounds and would lose 45-60. How freaking lucky was I?!?! But at the time I was also doing the “breastfeeding diet” which I swear burned off calories like I was in a triathlon. Each time though I’d pretty much be back to where I was before I got pregnant. No biggie…. until father time caught up with me!
So now I’m at a weight and size that I am just not feeling. So as the beginning of the month I cam across a picture of a 30 day squat challenge. I was intrigued, yet scared! I looked at the end of the challenge and thought “You people want me to do 300 squats??? Ain’t nobody got time for that!” But then I visualized how awesome my butt, thighs and hips would look. SOLD!
For that last 2 weeks I’ve been doing the 30 day squat challenge with a bunch of my Instagram BFFs. I have never had so much fun trying to get fit. Each of these ladies helps me laugh through the pain, show support and always there when one of us is ready to give up. In addition to what we like to refer to as the “ratchet drop it to the floor” squats, I’ve also been hitting the YMCA 3 times a week for Zumba classes. I’m feeling so much better and looking forward to the 40s!
So I am super excited to announce “Revolt, I accept the challenge!” I will be participating in an amazing fitness and weight loss program! Revolt Fitness is not like any other program out there! It provides daily menus and fresh daily workout videos. I will start my journey on April 29th. Each week I will chronicle my journey so check back to see my progress and how I’m doing! It will be a crazy ride and I’m excited to be a part of it. I will give honest and candid feedback as I work my way through this 12 week program! So stay with me and enjoy the ride! I’ll need the support and encouragement! And if you decide to give it a go let me know and I will help you get started.
Well here is the only cute before picture that I could find. I REFUSE to show any more than that for the time being, but rest assured I will show before, during and after pictures once I get started. No need blinding anyone for being subjected to my extra “meat”…LOL

You are crazy! LOL I’m documenting my before, during & after too. So today I’m on my day #1 and I think I’m using a different chart because mine starts you off at 50….Crap!! I could have been using this one and saved my legs the agony today 😀

Too cute! My knees won’t allow me 3 squats let alone 300!
My knees are pretty bad too when I go up stairs but fine doing the squats…makes no sense! lol
