So do you all remember when I said to make just one resolution during last week’s Motivation Monday post?  Well I lied!  LOL  Ok in all honesty what I need to work on isn’t really a resolution, it’s more of  I need a maid, nanny, cook and chauffeur!  And since none of that is happening I have to realize that my house isn’t going to just clean itself!  I mean dang it would be nice if it was like on the Jetson’s and  Rosie just came out of nowhere and started cleaning.  But I digress…

I’m sure a lot of you can relate that it’s been kinda hard to get back on track and get the house back in order after the holidays.  First you have Thanksgiving and then you turn around and start unpacking all your holiday decorations, preparing guest bedrooms and getting ready for the big Christmas dinner. After a month of that who the heck wants to clean!  Here are 4 Cleaning tips to help you tackle that mess that still might be lingering from the holidays and get you back on track for the rest of the year!

  • Plan out your cleaning routine and make a schedule (and actually stick to it!)  My 11yo knows that on Sunday and Wednesday she needs to wash her clothes.  If not it turns into the two of us “discussing” the piles of crap  dirty clothes all over the place.  -_-
  • Clean your messes along the way.  When preparing dinner or working on a craft, put up the dishes or throw away that trash instead of waiting until you’re completely done.
  • Make is a family affair!  Everyone in our house has a specific duty, that way all of the cleaning won’t be left up to one person, i.e. me!
  • Use products that actually clean and don’t just mask the dirt and grime.  Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle concentrated gel formula serves all of your cleaning needs and the auto stop cap pours just the right amount so less is wasted.

Well let me go grab my big, bald guy and get to cleaning.  No not my husband, Mr. Clean!  Geesh!

This is a compensated post brought to you by Mr. Clean. Mr. Clean is kicking off the New Year with the launch of a new product called Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle, a new multi-purpose, multi-surface concentrated cleaning gel that delivers superior cleaning performance on and off the floor.
