The grocery store and I have a love/hate relationship. I love food but hate grocery shopping. LOL
According to the calendar, Fall officially started a few weeks ago. Nashville clearly didn’t get the memo and its been in the 80s & 90s this entire time. But at some point Mother Nature will catch up and that cool crisp air that I so miss and love will be here.
One of my favorite things to make when it gets cooler is chili. Earlier this year I did a 30-Day Vegan Challenge and noticed how much better I felt and even lost some weight! One of the hardest things in the beginning was trying to figure out how to get what I needed without going to a specialty grocery store. Luckily for me my local Kroger has an entire aisle dedicated to just what I needed. As a Kroger Plus Card member, I didn’t realize that in addition to the everyday savings on my favorite grocery items, the program includes benefits from the money services area. This works great for me because I can do my shopping and take care of money matters at the same time.
Chili is one of my favorite comfort foods and its super easy to make. I typically have most of the ingredients in my pantry and just need fresh vegetables.
