Lordy lordy look who’s 40… and out of shape! I’ve always been able to just whip back in shape with little to no effort. Well that has all come to a drastic halt! My metabolism has slowed down to a snail’s pace and this hot momma needs to get her arse back in shape.
For now I will spare ALL OF YOU from being blinded by my before picture. Let’s just say it is NOT pretty and I’m pretty damn embarrassed by it. I though I was hot sh*t until I saw my picture from behind. I’m still in shock and had to immediately have a
bottle glass of wine to calm my nerves…I’m just saying!
Now that I am no longer in my 30s, I’ve noticed that I can quite just eat whatever the hell I want to. I mean who the heck told gravity, my metabolism and father time to sneak up and catch a sistah off guard. Luckily for me, each time I got pregnant I gained 30 pounds and would lose 45-60. How freaking lucky was I?!?! But at the time I was also doing the “breastfeeding diet” which I swear burned off calories like I was in a triathlon. Each time though I’d pretty much be back to where I was before I got pregnant. No biggie…. until father time caught up with me!
So now I’m at a weight and size that I am just not feeling. So as the beginning of the month I cam across a picture of a 30 day squat challenge. I was intrigued, yet scared! I looked at the end of the challenge and thought “You people want me to do 300 squats??? Ain’t nobody got time for that!” But then I visualized how awesome my butt, thighs and hips would look. SOLD!
